Personal Information
I am in my 16th year teaching in the Business/Technology department at Black River Technical College.  I received a BSE and MSE in Business Education from Arkansas State University.  Before receiving my degree, I was the district bookkeeper and superintendent secretary of the Marion School District.

My husband, Dwight Ellis, and I are also engaged in the farming industry and are grandparents to three boys and three beautiful girls.  We serve on political farming committees as needed.  I am a member of the First Baptist Church in Walnut Ridge and enjoy being a member of the Red Hat Garnet Girls in Pocahontas.

I have found this profession to be both rewarding and challenging with the need to stay abreast of new technology.  Seeing an increase of traditional students at BRTC, I feel we are meeting the local need for a formal higher education as well as the influx of non-traditional students who are making life-changing professions due to downsizing or just the need for change.
