Office Document Viewers  Students who do not have the latest version of Microsoft Office installed will be unable to view documents saved in Office 2007 (.docx, etc.) . If you have an older version of Office you can view these documents if you install the Office Compatibility Pack located here : http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/products/HA101686761033.aspx . If you do not have Office on your machine you can download a free viewer (view only) from Microsoft by going to the Microsoft website and searching for “Word 2007 viewer”.  There is also a problem viewing Word 2007 documents (.docx) within some browsers. The solution to this is to right click on the document, save it to the desktop and then open the file with either Office or the Office Viewer.
